The Adtech AX/4000 Broadband Test System is the industry's most advanced testing platform designed for Frame Relay Networks and Equipment. Engineered to maximize flexibility and scalability, this system offers a modular multiport framework that can handle multiple transmission technologies—such as ATM, IP, Frame Relay, and Ethernet—simultaneously at speeds of up to 10 Gbps. With the versatility afforded by field-programmable modules and more than 35 swappable interfaces, the AX/4000 can support virtually all possible types of transmission and almost any connection mode. Comprehensive software options provide a complete set of tools for ensuring conformance with the latest industry standards and offer rigorous testing of performance under demanding conditions.
 
Ideal for network service providers and equipment manufacturers, the AX/4000 provides the highest level of broadband test power. It can emulate end-to-end network scenarios—from subscriber access points to the core network—thereby offering extensive testing of network scalability, reliability, and performance before actual deployment. The system comes with a 16-slot mainframe chassis and a portable 4-slot chassis that house a wide range of interfaces, including AX/4000 mAX IP PoS/ATM/FR OC-12c/OC-3c in both single-mode and multimode types. The test modules support speeds of up to 1 Gbps utilizing the mAX 1 Gbps Generator/Analyzer Test Module.
 
The AX/4000 is especially capable of meeting the challenges that are imposed by demanding test conditions in a wide range of protocols at data rates between 1.554 Mbps and 10 Gbps for ATM, IP, Frame Relay, and Ethernet. The AX/4000 also executes a vast number of conformance test suites for these protocols, enabling high-precision testing in such applications as access networks, mobile backhaul, routing, multicast, switching, and MPLS. This product will, therefore, easily adapt to many different testing environments.
